I have had no modeling time all summer... been crazy. This one was sitting base-coated on my bench since New Years! Needed to clear my bench to start up work again on "that other big project"...

I love all the tiny details, the lights glow perfect… the tracks in the sand – beautiful! All the weathering… wOw-o-wOw!

How are the lights done? LEDs? Blubs? 9 volt battery?

Thanks guys! Very happy to have this one DONE. It was taking up my whole bench. Once the weathering started to take shape I really got into it...

VoodooFx had a nice lighting kit for this one. Was pretty easy to wire it up, although I DID forget one of the lights in the cockpit... I put a hatch in the top in case I ever need to fix anything. The only real issues were having to rebuild a warped upper shelf in the back end and put some extra pins in to hold the back straight.

One minor addition... darkened up the jawas and added more flat. Think I grabbed a jar of flat earth wash originally... they were still a bit light and shiny. Fixed.
