To get stuff cut Laser Cut they have to be 'Vector' drawings. So Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad etc are all good. I just taught myself Illustrator. Ive had it for years & never bothered with it cause I could do everything I wanted in PhotoShop. Not any more. Ive got few things I want cut properly.
Thanks Jase,
Unfortunately, the head will be so big, it would cost a small fortune to get it printed. Once I get the 3D version done, I'll have all the curves figured out. Then I can build it for real. With the pattern built I can roto cast any copies needed. That is the plan anyway,
I need to get a vector program myself. Lightwave doesn't output the files I'd need for laser cutting. I really want to have some Galactica and tanker stuff laser cut eventually. Autocad bakes my gourd, LOL. I thought I was smart till I tried to use that piece a crap,
Kudos to anyone who can figure that thing out. It's beyond my brain power. I'm using the 3D stuff just as a guide right now. Some guys are great sculptors. They can build a part by eye, and just cut styrene and make the part. I need a little more help than that, Cheers,Joe

It's just a regular zip from my Mac ...
I'll look into it, and either put em up uncompressed, or zip them on a PC instead.
Cheers

Thanks Man,
I was wondering which issue of S and F that article was in. Someone posted a few pages from it a while back. I want to get that back issue. I have a lot of issues before they changed the name and format. That was such a great magazine. Of course they had to go and screw it up,
Figures, that's why we can't have anything nice, Cheers,Joe
