Yeah, the pens were a stroke of luck that they were the right size. I had been planning to use brass tubing but realized the stuff I had wasn't the right size. I pulled out all the pens we had at home and these worked perfect. I managed to save the insides that will work great for the gun barrels as well as some tubing around the engines.
