The side-by-side really shows how good the detail for the Bandai kit is - especially given it is a fraction the size of the actual miniature.
If you could post some details on how you did the weathering I'm sure it would be appreciated by many on the site.
The rust and grime streaks seem like they would be a real pain to get right - and what do you do to correct when it doesn't work out the first time ?

The rust and grime streaks were applied AFTER the base coat was satisfactory...and sealed with several coats of clear flat, That way I could easily remove any mistakes with a Q TIP and some windex!
Because I wanted every streak to match up with the filming model(I am crazy that way!), It was a painstaking task to say the least! The grime and Rust was applied using numerous methods to yield the results I wanted...Paper Towel, Tissue Paper, Pencils, Air Brush, Q-Tip, My finger and my old T shirt!
