Just a quick update tonight. This is the first layer of the hull on the bottom. This is 1/16" styrene to span over the ribs so the shape of the ridges doesn't telegraph through. Over this will be a layer of .5mm styrene that will extend all they way to the edge of the disc. The shape of the curve is pretty subtle and a bit lost in these photos. I think it will be more visible once the panel lines are scribed on.
