Scratchbuilt Snowspeeder WIP

Hey Lee, good to hear from you. I agree with you that the 2 speeders are different colors. My interpretation though is that the speeder with gray markings is a warmer gray leaning towards brown, yellow where the red speeder has more of a cooler gray leaning towards blue, green. What is also clear to me in building both is that they were built by two different teams as they do share the same castings for the brake boxes and guns and some other details. They are also the same dimensionally and share the same hull patterns but are very different in the way the hulls are put together.
Thanks Turrican for the kind words, I did use a Dremel for some of the dings. Another technique I used for weathering is a soft brass wire brush that I used for brushing the hull surface to get fine scratches.
