The best bet would be a CNC machine.
The eggs that i have are white and light blue and are styrene and incredibly fragile, you could cast them up, wouldnt take much resin, and be more dense and a bit heavier.
i need to get a few more sets myself.
Now that I think of it, metal spinning might be a better process. You could always cut the lips after spinning the eggs. I've had good luck with the blue eggs, my chromed ones will crack if you look at them hard,
I guess casting them will be the way to do it. If we use a real hard resin, that can take a little heat. The Cylon tanker uses the egg's, but the engines aren't lit so you could use original egg's if you wanted. The BG Shuttle, and the Star Destroyer would need something heat resistant. I'm sure someone will figure it out. Cheers,Joe
