Jase, I just measured a couple of my Legg's Eggs. They are just over 2 and 3/4 of an inch at the widest part. Almost exactly 70mm. This is the outside dimension. Inside dimension goes from 2 15/16 to 2 5/8 inch because of the lip on the two parts. Hope that last bit wasn't confusing,
