Hasbro toys worth reworking? - TCSloan - 01-14-2011 Ive never really compared any of the newer Hasbro toys to reference, so Im wondering if any of them are good enough to 'rework' and bring them up to a good scale model. Perhaps the Awing, Tie Fighter or maybe the Power FX Xwing? RE: Hasbro toys worth reworking? - propologist - 02-28-2011 I think they would be a good starting point. beyonf the Colin Cantwell items I like , I want to do a larger scale Tie Tank. I think I will use the toy tie for the body and then scratch the rest. I like for it to be studio scale in size ( whatever that would be for something not created for the films) RE: Hasbro toys worth reworking? - Apophis - 03-18-2011 The v-19 is good and v-wing and the gun ship also. RE: Hasbro toys worth reworking? - Apophis - 03-23-2017 wow< this is an old post! ive just finished the u-wing and now im revisiting the v-19 torrent, still a nice toy and nice size. i still have the gun ship to finish, that one is a bit more tricky. the newer stuff is much more accurate and takes a bit less work to modify. still, if you cant afford the garage kits this may be an avenue worth looking into. |
