1/72 Glaug - wizardofthenorth - 08-13-2014 Just pulled this out of the box, quite a lot of parts so will be interesting to get this together. Not too difficult to build, very clean castings. This new resin I have seen lately is almost like a true plastic. Very smooth, but not too hard either. If your looking for some colors I used tamiya light blue and tamiya german grey for mine, pretty good match for the line art. mike RE: 1/72 Glaug - wizardofthenorth - 09-05-2014 Thanks Mike, i just threw that in there to see how it looked, first piece I grabbed. Never the less good to know it is incorrect before it gets glued. :-) The art book is my main reference for the details. And thanks for the paint guide, I wasn't sure what to use. I will check those out. And i will say it again, i love this newer resin. Great work you did on the castings. Cheers RE: 1/72 Glaug - Gans - 10-16-2014 Wow nice looking model kit and size Not your scale of course But here are my colours for something different http://www.brisbanemodelbuilder.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=80:tactical-pod-glaug&catid=36:sci-fi&Itemid=56 |
