Eye Protection - Red III - 02-16-2013

OK Guys, Here is some common sense advice to all that have hobbies or do projects around the house. ALWAYS ALWAYS wear some kind of eye protection.

While grinding some fiberglass with my dremel I managed to get some of the dust into my right eye which led to an abrasion on the cornea which then led to an infection. It felt like a knife stuck in my eye and an eyeball that looked like a radish. After a week of torture and some very expensive meds it's just now getting back to normal.

Just remember this little cautionary tail next time your in the garage or garden.

I have learned my lesson. Now back to my model.

All the best.

G' Day red III
You are spot on. You only get one set of eyes and safety glasses are not that annoying considering the pain and discomfort you went through from not wearing them.
It takes time but eventually we all learn from our own mistakes or someone else's .
